May We Have The Bliss Creating Energies

आपो हि ष्ठा मयोभुवस्ता न ऊर्जे दधातन ।
महे रणाय चक्षसे ॥
यो वः शिवतमो रसस्तस्य भाजयतेह नः ।
उशतीरिव मातरः ॥
तस्मा अरं गमाम वो यस्य क्षयाय जिन्वथ ।
आपो जनयथा च नः ॥

āpo hi ṣṭhā mayobhuvastā na ūrje dadhātana
mahe raṇāya cakṣase

yo vaḥ śivatamo rasastasya bhājayateha naḥ
uśatīriva mātaraḥ

tasmā araṁ gamāma vo yasya kṣayāya jinvatha
āpo janayathā ca naḥ

May we have the bliss creating energies, may they establish in us abounding force
So that we may see the great delight

May we have here our share of your most auspicious essence
Like eager mothers (who bestor happiness on their children)

May we go readily to the abode to which you hasten us
And may the waters give us a new birth
